BBer JenniferLopez04 aka Yoan Mena had the opportunity to attend a class by one of Jennifer’s dancers, and captain of the Dance Again World Tour JLo Dancers, Gilbert Saldivar in Miami recently! While there, he recorded the video above. Here’s his recap of the experience:
Meeting up with with Gilbert was a really cool experience. When I first walked into the studio, I was a little nervous and felt kinda out of place because everyone around me was a professional dancer and I am not, but I felt like I needed to be there no matter what. Anyway, right when he was about to start class I introduced myself and he thought I was one of Jose Omar’s (another JLO dancer) best friends but then I told him that we first met in Puerto Rico. He remembered that I was a JLo fan and we did a book for Jenn with a JLo Dancers section in it. He was really nice and so cool with all the others. He explained a short routine to the other dancers using Pitbull’s “Dont Stop the Party”. The class was about 2-3 hours long with four 30 second breaks. The Focal Point staff were really generous letting me enjoy the class for free and to take video footage. He will be back in Miami this month and I hope to see him again.
