American Idol Results: And then there were 12!

America voted and the bottom girl and guy were revealed; the judges then had the final word on who would be the first Season 11 finalist to be eliminated this evening!

The night opened with a group performance of Stevie Wonder’s, “I’ll Be Loving You Always” and last night’s mentor, Mary J. Blige, as well as Season 10’s runner-up, Lauren Alaina came out to play on the Idol stage!

Jennifer Lopez looked simply amazing in a pale pink, plunging-neck leather dress and super high and spiked-up Louboutin heels!

American Idol: Top 13 Finalists Perform Whitney Houston & Stevie Wonder Hits!

Tonight the Top 13 finalists took the stage in an “all-or-nothing” battle! The ladies were dealt a tough task singing tribute hits from the late and incomparable Whitney Houston, while the guys serenaded America with tunes by living legend, Stevie Wonder. The group had a very special mentor this evening, a legend in her own right, Ms. Mary J. Blige!

Jennifer’s performance night look was an all-white top and pant combo by designer Barbara Bui – LOVED the pop of color on the nails!

2 surprises coming up in March!

On the brand new, and by the way greatly improved, JenniferLopez.com, Jenn gave us the low down on what she will be doing this month. We can all set our DVR’s now, so we won’t miss one single minute on TV of our favorite artist out there.
Her diary is pretty much packed with American Idol and Q’Viva, but it has 2 remarkable dates in it:

March 15 – American Idol: tune in for a big surprise announcement
March 29 – American Idol: tune in for a big music surprise

We are very excited about that! Jenn and her little surprises are the best. We really have our fingers crossed that the surprise announcement will be a tour, something us LOVE?rs all over the world have been waiting for ever since 1999, when she started her music career. The music surprise must been new music in some way, which is always very welcome.

American Idol: Top 12 Girls Hit The Stage Live!

The top 12 girls stormed the Idol stage last night and gave the boys a run for their money! The judges were also in top form, critiquing each contestant thoughtfully and honestly.

Jennifer looked amazing, as always, in Valentino.
