Jennifer Lopez Set To Appear On “Big Stars Big Giving” This Weekend!

Jennifer will be appearing on CNN’s “Big Stars Big Giving” special on Dec 24 at 2 pm ET and Dec 25 at 4 pm ET! The special shines a spotlight on celebrities and the charitable causes they support. The special features interviews with Jennifer and other celebrities and important figures such as Bill Clinton, Tony Bennett, and Will Ferrell.

Jennifer will presumably be discussing her charity, The Maribel Foundation, and how a medical scare involving daughter, Emme, motivated her to create the foundation. Make sure you tune in!

JLo Becomes Queen of Youtube!

Jennifer Lopez is now the Queen of Youtube!! Jennifer’s On The Floor music video has just surpassed Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance with over 427 million views, making On The Floor the most watched video by a female of all-time and the 2nd most watched video overall!!  Justin Bieber’s Baby video has over 650 million views, making him the King of Youtube.

On The Floor was released eight months ago and incredibly surpassed videos from her counterparts in the music industry that are much older and have had more time to increase their views. This is an incredible feat, so congratulations to Jennifer and everyone involved in the creation of the video!!

Jennifer Lopez honored at Glamour “Woman of the Year” awards!

Jennifer was presented with Glamour magazine’s Woman of the Year “All Star” award by designer and long-time friend, Donatella Versace, who called her “unforgettable.” The yearly event was held in New York City’s Carnegie Hall and celebrates the top women who inspire the masses through their work and achievements in fields ranging from science, to politics, to entertainment.

Looking flawless in a thigh-revealing, floor-length Atelier Versace 2011 gown, Jimmy Choo heels and Harry Winston jewelry, JLo was easily the night’s best dressed! You can VOTE for her here!

During her heartfelt speech, Jennifer shared what she and the other women honored all have in common – that they’re all surrounded by inspiring women, too. She went on to share a beautiful piece of advice she once received from a key female figure in her life, “My grandma taught me, always go out looking nice, because people like that.”

Jennifer Lopez’s Q’Viva Lines Up Broadcast Networks!

The show goes on! More details were released today regarding Jennifer Lopez’s latest project, ¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN. The show, which will be aired simultaneously in English, Spanish, and Portuguese in 21 countries, is set to debut in the first quarter of 2012.

¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN will be filmed from October 2011 to January 2012. Jennifer, Marc Anthony, and tour director Jamie King, will travel throughout Latin America to meet the most outstanding Latin singers, dancers, musicians, and performers that they have discovered via their personal networks, grassroots efforts, and social media campaigns on YouTube and Facebook.

The series will document their extraordinary transcontinental road trip to bring viewers the drama and intense emotions of the incredible stories and personal journeys that they will uncover.

“Very soon the world’s heart will beat to the tune of Latin rhythms and we’re looking forward to experiencing history in the making,” said Jennifer Lopez. “It is with great pride that we embark on this amazing and very personal mission to discover and celebrate the most captivating talent the world has ever seen.”

The first three of 21 broadcast network deals were announced today: Univision in the U.S., Televisa in Mexico, and Caracol TV in Colombia. Other broadcast partners will be announced soon. Hour-long episodes will air weekly on the individual networks.

The international talent search for ¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN is well underway. Since June 1st the public has been nominating their country’s best singers, dancers, musicians, and performers on Facebook (facebook.com/qvivathechosen), and talented people across the Americas have been uploading their video auditions on YouTube (youtube.com/qviva). Nominations and submissions are being meticulously reviewed each week leading up to Marc and Jennifer’s visits to the various countries.
