The classic docuseries, Behind The Music is back with an updated episode based on Jennifer Lopez! The episode, which is streaming now on Paramount+, features new interview footage with Jennifer as well as classic clips and footage from her life. It also features some behind the scenes footage of Jennifer in the studio working on her upcoming album, ‘This Is Me…Now’!
Jennifer Lopez spoke with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in a new interview released today! The interview covers a wide range of topics related to ‘This Is Me…Then’ and how it relates to her upcoming album, ‘This Is Me…Now’.
JLo reflects on the conversation behind the title of the album ‘This Is Me…Then’, which spawned the hit “Jenny from the Block” and captured the chapter of her life where she met her soulmate. In a wide-ranging conversation, she discusses the uncanny experience of writing the future of her love story with Ben, feeling most musically inspired when she is in love, facing heartbreak publicly, and reuniting with the love of her life. Jennifer Lopez has announced a new musical era! Watch the very cool announcement above! Her upcoming album, which will be released next year, is called ‘This Is Me…Now’!
Per a press release, ‘This Is Me…Now’ chronicles the “emotional, spiritual and psychological journey that she has taken over the past two decades. An emotionally raw and honest project, unlike any she has produced before, she writes and sings about her life and experiences that will resonate with us all. In addition, these autobiographical stories informed by the album will result in other very personal projects that will be released next year…more to come on that.”
The album will shine “a spotlight on her tough childhood, unsuccessful relationships and the incredible emotional journey she has been on.” It is also described as “a philosophy, a reflection, a zeitgeist moment. It’s about hope, faith and true love never dying.” This is all very exciting!
Jennifer also shared the tracklist on social media, and the titles really sound like they are in line with the descriptions above. Can’t wait to hear it!

Big things must be in the works in JLo-land because her social media pages have gone dark! All of her Instagram posts have been removed along with her profile photo and her Twitter and TikTok profile pics are also blacked out. Her Facebook page is slightly different, with an updated profile image and header using the official “This Is Me…Then” font. The album’s 20th Anniversary is this Friday, November 25.
