Music update

Seems like Jennifer is working hard on new music lately!
After the news that she hit the studio with Afrojack, Dr Luke and Sean Paul it seems like she recorded some new music this week.

Chantal Kreviazuk tweeted the following and Jennifer replied:

Chantal is a singer-songwriter, she penned songs for the likes of Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Drake.

A day after Jennifer tweeted something really exciting for us long time LOVE!rs:

Cory and Jennifer have quite some musical history together as he (co-)wrote and produced lots of Jen’s musical catalog. They collaborated on JLo signature songs like If You Had My Love, Ain’t It Funny, I’m Real, Play, Jenny From The Block, All I Have, Get Right, Do It Well and Hold It, Don’t Drop It. The song dedicated to Jennifer’s twins Max and Emme, One Step At A Time, was their latest track together.

We can’t wait to hear the outcome of all of this!

JLo Nominated For 3 Latin Billboard Awards!

Jennifer Lopez is nominated for 3 Latin Billboard Awards! Jennifer is up for Female Artist of the Year and Follow The Leader, her recent collaboration with Wisin y Yandel, is up for Streaming Song of The Year! Jennifer’s US tour with Enrique Iglesias is also up for Tour of the Year!

The Billboard Latin Music Awards honors the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin Music, as determined by the actual sales, radio airplay, streaming and social data that informs Billboard’s weekly charts during a one-year period from the issue dated February 4, 2012, through this year’s January 26, 2013, issue. Finalists, and the eventual winners, reflect performance of new recordings on Billboard’s album and track sales charts, including Top Latin Albums and Latin Digital Songs, radio charts, including Latin Airplay, and streaming and social charts such as On-Demand Songs, Streaming Songs and Social 50.

Congratulations to Jennifer, Wisin y Yandel, and Enrique! We hope they will take these awards home!

JLo Performs in Japan!

Jennifer Lopez made her way to Osaka, Japan on Saturday for a special performance of the Dance Again World Tour. The tour did not stop in Japan, so I’m sure it was a treat for the 30,000+ people in the audience! This was a special show for Amway distributors.

JLo’s Surprise Performance At Choreographer’s Carnival

UPDATED

Jennifer Lopez made a surprise appearance at the Los Angeles Choreographer’s Carnival last night! Jennifer performed in a piece choreographed by her choreographer, J.R. Taylor. You can watch the full performance above. (Jennifer appears starting at 5:37) They all killed it!

JLo Will Perform & Be Honored At Celebrity Fight Night!

According to AZCentral, Jennifer Lopez will perform and receive a humanitarian award at this year’s Celebrity Fight Night on Saturday, March 23 in Phoenix, AZ!

Celebrity Fight Night is an annual star-studded event presented in honor of Muhammad Ali that benefits the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute.  The event will also raise money for the Lopez Family Foundation.

In an e-mail, Jennifer told them:

“My sister Lynda and I started the Lopez Family Foundation to really help children in need of medical treatments around the world. We are both single mothers and we understand the responsibility we have to keep our kids safe and healthy. I really could not imagine my life without doing this and helping these kids. We are proud of the work that we have done in Puerto Rico and Panama, but this is only the beginning.”

Per the executive director, Sean Currie, Jennifer will perform with a special guest star to close the show.
