New JLo Fan Project!!

It’s time for another BB fan project, JLovers!

JLo’s Dance Again World Tour has been a dream come true for fans all over the world, so we want to commemorate that with a new fanbook! Our projects have had tremendous success, so you don’t want to miss out! (For a recap of our projects, go here. To see our recent birthday gift in Jennifer’s home dressing room, go here. )

BB Staff Member Erika, and long-time BBer Yoan, will be attending Jennifer’s last show of the Dance Again World Tour in Puerto Rico on December 22 and will present her with the gift!

Book Details

Submit a photo related to Jennifer’s Dance Again World Tour and your experience at the show.  Sample image ideas: A picture of yourself with Jennifer in the background at one of her shows, with Jennifer (if you were lucky enough to meet her!), holding a JLO concert ticket, with friends in the audience, etc.

In addition to the photo, please include a brief (3-4 sentences only!) message such as your thoughts on the show, Jennifer, what the show meant to you, etc.

Along with your description and photo, make sure you include:

Age:
Where you are from:
BB username:
Where and when was the photo taken:

If you didn’t attend for any reason and would like to participate, please create something special for Jennifer (like a banner related to her tour) and we will use that, as well. Again, include a brief message and the info requested above.

Image Specifications

The photos should be high quality and close to 4200 pixels wide by 3306 pixels tall. If you have lower resolution  photos, you may submit them as well, but for best results we need HQ images. Please do not photoshop images. We will take care of that. Raw photos only.

We are short on time and we need submissions ASAP, so please send the info to danceagainbb@gmail.com. Deadline is November 24th.

If your show is after the deadline, take a picture with your ticket or be creative so that you can still participate! Let’s show Jennifer some JLove and make this book another success!!

Dance Again tour in Rotterdam

October 29th, the day Jennifer performed live in concert in my country the Netherlands, for the first time! As some of you might know, I’ve traveled the world (Berlin, New York, Athens, London, Los Angeles and Antwerp) to see Jenn in person. Luckily I’ve seen Jennifer perform several times before. I attended the Antwerp and London concerts of her Dance Again Tour. However, attending a concert of Jenn in my home country was something really unique and special to me.

I met up with Beyond Beautiful JLo staff members Stefan and Lianne yesterday, along with Yvonne, who flew in from London, and another Dutch lover, Manou. All of us bought golden circle tickets for the show, this resulted in spots right in front of the catwalk. Best spots in the house if you ask me. A little before 9.30 p.m. Jennifer finally hit the stage. After “Hello lovers. Rotterdam!” she started, like always, with my ultimate favorite performance song: Get Right. All of us were on a high when we saw our favorite superstar up on the stage right in front of us.

Throughout the show, Jennifer danced sultry, sang her heart out, talked with the audience and shook hands. This during a show which featured many of her hits like Waiting For Tonight, Love Don’t Cost A Thing, If You Had My Love, Jenny From The Block, On The Floor and the final song of the night Dance Again. I have to say this was the best JLo concert I ever attended: her voice was amazing, her energy level was sky high, she glowed on stage, had lots of interaction with the fans, had the crowd on her side and seemed to be in her element on stage. Not only Miss Lopez, but her band and dancers delivered an awesome performance too. Us lovers had a blast, she even took Yvonne’s Puerto Rican flag and did an improvised dance number with it!

After the show we spotted Benny Medina at the back of the venue. I decided to walk down to him to say hi and give my compliments on the show. Benny invited me over to him, we had a little chat about the concerts I attended. Then he even invited us backstage to say hi to Jennifer herself! As you can imagine we were on cloud 9! We followed him backstage, walking by Jenn’s mom Guadalupe, the coconuts and Mark Young, to a room where Jenn was meeting up with the Tweet2Meet winners. When they left it was our turn. Jennifer was a doll, like always. She hugged all of us twice and chatted a little with us. She even thanked me personally for all my support during the shows, which was really special to me. Benny was so nice to take some pics of us with her on my camera. After that, some of her people took some more group pics of us. We’ve been told they will end up on JenniferLopez.com soon.

Meeting Jennifer was the perfect ending of one of the best nights of my life! Being able to say hi backstage and to take a picture with her was a true blessing. Many thanks to Benny Medina and Jennifer herself for making this possible. I can speak for the 5 of us to say we experienced a night we will never forget! The JLOVE continues.

Jennifer Lopez’s interview on Katie aired yesterday! Jennifer spent the full hour on the show, talking about everything from her world tour to her divorce. We also got a behind the scenes peek at Jennifer’s dressing room and closet. If you look closely, you’ll spot the birthday gift we gave her earlier this year! So cool!
