JLo at the MET gala

Dressed in a custom made Atelier Versace dress Jennifer Lopez stepped out on the MET gala red carpet with Miss Versace herself, Donatella Versace. The theme of this year’s gala was China: Through The Look Of Glass, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City last night.

The dress is JLo style 100% and fits the theme with the fire-breathing dragon twisting around her body. Donatella mentioned a few days ago she and Jennifer have been collaborating on the superstar’s look for the night: “She got so excited [about the China theme], so we worked together on this dress. She’ll be great from the front, even better from the back.”

JLo to perform Selena tribute at Billboard Latin Music Awards

We are so excited to share the news that Jennifer Lopez will honor Selena with a tribute performance at the Billboard Latin Music Awards on April 30th! The news came out on the day of the 44th birthday of Selena who passed away in 1995. Reports even claim Jennifer will transform into Selena for the performance, so she will probably wear some of her most iconic outfits during the medley performance.

Jennifer’s portrayal of Tejano singer in 1997’s biopic Selena made her a household name and even resulted in a Golden Globes nomination for Best Actress.

Do you remember JLo’s epic Celia Cruz tribute at the American Music Awards in 2013? We do for sure, and if that will be an indication of her upcoming Selena tribute we are sure she will slay the world once again!

The Billboard Latin Music Awards will air live on Telemundo at the end of this month.
