Neighborhood Sessions feat Jennifer Lopez, a new special, will air on February 14 immediately following All-Star Saturday Night on TNT. You may recall that Jennifer performed a free concert in the Bronx last June. The concert was filmed as part of State Farm’s Neighborhood Sessions, which gives the biggest names in music a chance to say “thank you” to the neighbors who inspire greatness in their communities every day. The Boy Next Door is the #1 new release at the box office this week! It came in at #2, behind American Sniper, with $15 million (nearly four times its $4 million budget). This is Jennifer’s highest live-action opening since Monster-In-Law debuted in 2005! The success is extra-sweet, because Jennifer also produced the film. Congratulations, Jennifer!!!
During media rounds, Jennifer expressed how liberating it was to make a movie this way, so hopefully we’ll see her on the big screen again sooner, rather than later. Next up, she has Lila & Eve premiering at the Sundance Film Festival next week. You can buy tickets here.
