Jennifer Set to Appear on “Variety Studio: Actors on Actors”

Exciting news! As an Emmy contender for her role in Shades of Blue, Jennifer Lopez is taking part in Variety’s “Actors on Actors,” a special that features one-on-one discussions between this year’s Emmy contenders. Jennifer filmed her conversation with Felicity Huffman on Saturday. You can watch a short behind the scenes clip on Variety’s Facebook page.

This year’s conversations will be printed in the June 7 issue of Variety. The segments will be available to stream on Variety.com and will air on PBS in June.

“Variety is thrilled to cover the best actors on television in this season’s ‘Actors on Actors’ for PBS stations,” said Variety‘s executive TV editor Debra Birnbaum in a statement. “This season’s lineup includes actors from some of the top new television programs and showcases the wide diversity of roles for actors on broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. We are so proud to continue our partnership with PBS SoCal and deliver dynamic and in depth conversations to their audience this June.”

PBS SoCal will premiere the segment in two episodes, one on June 12 and the other on June 19.

Jennifer Lopez: The Jess Cagle Interview

Jennifer participated in an in-depth interview with Jess Cagle, PEOPLE & EW’s editorial director. It’s a great discussion about her life and work and legacy, plus a nice retrospective on her past albums. The interview is about 50 minutes long, but I really recommend that JLovers take some time to watch!
