Last night, a new episode of American Idol aired and unfortunately, Karen was sent home. The judges chose not to save her, and Jennifer looked pretty upset about it. Randy indicated that the decision was not unanimous, and judging from Jennifer’s face, she was the holdout. (more…)
Jennifer Lopez’s ‘On The Floor’ remains at #5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart this week! The song also remains at #2 on the Digital Songs chart. JLo dominated that digital songs chart all week, but when all was said and done, Katy Perry narrowly snagged the #1 spot. The difference between the two songs was only about 1,000 copies! So, if you haven’t already done so, make sure you support Jennifer and buy ‘On The Floor’ on iTunes, Amazon, Wal-Mart, Rhapsody, Napster, etc. Also, keep requesting it on the radio! Radio airplay is very important, so request On The Floor here.

A new episode of American Idol aired last night! The top 12 performers each performed a song from their birth year, and of course, some did really well and others had a more difficult time.

Jennifer Lopez appeared on Entertainment Tonight on Monday and Tuesday. In ET’s exclusive interview, Jennifer talked about a variety of topics, including ‘On The Floor’ and American Idol. We also get to hear from Jennifer’s manager, Benny Medina, as well as L.A. Reid, the chairman of Jennifer’s label, Island Def Jam. Check it out!
An all new episode of American Idol airs tonight, so don’t forget to tune in! There are a couple of noteworthy Idol tidbits in the news that I wanted to mention.
First, a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 52% of American Adults have a favorable opinion of singer-actress Jennifer Lopez, making her the most popular of the three judges. That’s awesome! Go Jennifer!
Second, Idol’s exec producer, Nigel Lythgoe, confirmed that Jennifer will perform on the show at some point this season. We assumed that would be the case, but it’s nice to get a confirmation! We definitely can’t wait to see that!
