Jennifer Lopez Nominated For 2 ALMA Awards!

Jennifer Lopez has been nominated for 2 ALMA Awards!The ALMA Awards honor the artistic accomplishments of Latinos in music, television and film.

Jennifer is nominated for Favorite Female Music Artist and Favorite TV Reality, Variety, or Comedy Personality or Act (for American Idol). Fans are being invited to help choose the winners by voting online, so support Jennifer and vote here!

Winners will be determined by fan votes; box-office, Nielsen and Billboard rankings; and the ALMA Awards production team.

The ALMA Awards will be presented Sept. 16 during an hour-long special on NBC hosted by George Lopez and Eva Longoria.

Jennifer Lopez Spotted On Set Of “What To Expect…”

As we mentioned earlier in the week, Jennifer Lopez is back in Atlanta, GA working on her new movie, What To Expect When You’re Expecting! She was photographed on set yesterday filming a scene where she exits her car.

In between takes, Jennifer played with Emme and Max who were hanging out with Jennifer’s mom, Lupe, and their bodyguards.

In other news, Jennifer is reportedly very close to resigning with American Idol for another year. An announcement is expected in the next week or two. We’ll keep everyone posted!

JLo Celebrates Birthday in Miami

Jennifer Lopez was photographed with family and friends on a yacht in Miami yesterday. Her kids, Emme and Max were also on board to spend the day with her.

Jennifer went on a Twitter spree yesterday, thanking fans for their birthday wishes and responding to lucky fans:

Jennifer is reportedly back on the What To Expect When You’re Expecting set in Atlanta, GA today. Hopefully we’ll see some pictures from the set!

MCA Universal Event In Philippines – Recap!

Quite a few of our members got the chance to attend the MCA Universal Philippines music event promoting their roster of artists, including Jennifer’s LOVE?, this weekend! The event featured an audio-visual presentation for five of their artists: Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Jessie J, Nicole Scherzinger, and Lady Gaga.

Jennifer’s segment kicked off the presentation, which then segued into a fashion show that musically featured On The Floor. Fans also had the opportunity to take pictures in a Jennifer-themed photobooth, score a free poster (with the BBjlo logo!) and of course, they could buy LOVE? Overall, it sounds like the Filipino JLOVE?Rs had a great time meeting up and sharing their JLOVE? with other fans.

South Beach Tow Is Another Hit For JLo!

The ratings are in and the latest project from the JLo Empire, South Beach Tow, had a great premiere last night!

A total of 1,635,000 viewers hitched up to truTV’s brand new show South Beach Tow last night at 10 p.m. The series premiere is now tied with the December 2009 debut of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Venturaas truTV’s biggest Wednesday series launch ever. A second episode scored a hefty 1,572,000 viewers at 10:30 p.m.

Among key demos, the 10 p.m. premiere of South Beach Tow delivered 767,000 adults 18-49 and 439,000 men 18-49. The 10:30 p.m. episode expanded those demos to 804,000 adults 18-49 and 494,000 men 18-49.

South Beach Tow garnered tremendous growth compared to the installment of Disorder in the Court that aired in the same timeslot last year, with total viewers up 55%, adults 18-49 up 42% and men 18-49 up 46%.

With new episodes of truTV’s Operation Repo leading into South Beach Tow, truTV scored its best Wednesday primetime delivery in total viewers and adults 18-49 since the first quarter.

South Beach Tow centers on Miami’s family-owned Tremont Towing and the unique and fascinating characters who work there. The series comes to truTV from Bodega Pictures and executive producer Jennifer Lopez’s Nuyorican Production.
