JLo Returning to American Idol?

Will Jennifer Lopez be returning to the judges table for the upcoming season of American Idol? Rumors have been swirling for quite some time, and today at the FOX TCA press tour, Kevin Reilly, the chairman of entertainment for FOX, confirmed that talks have been ongoing with Jennifer, saying,

“Jennifer has been a close part of the show all along…there have been discussions there. There is no deal with her or anyone else…We want some judges that are good at the job, that people like, that will refocus our attention on the contestants. We want some comfortable judges who make it comfortable to view and make it comfortable for the contestants.”

Reilly also confirmed that Keith Urban will be returning to the panel this season. Per a PEOPLE source, Jennifer is “very close to signing a deal with Fox to return to American Idol next season”.

JLo Featured on Wisin’s Upcoming Single “Adrenalina”

Rapper Wisin (one-half of Wisin y Yandel) revealed to Univision that he will soon release a new song, Adrenalina, featuring Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin! A release date has not been set, but Wisin revealed that the song is finished and it will be his next release.

Of course, Jennifer’s last release with Wisin y Yandel, Follow The Leader, was a big success! The single was certified Gold in the US and the music video has over 150 million views on Youtube/Vevo.

We’ve been hearing about this song for quite some time, and it was originally touted as a Wisin y Yandel song. It is unclear if Yandel will still be featured on the song. Either way, we can’t wait to hear the finished product!

ABC Family Picks Up More Episodes of “The Fosters”!

ABC Family has officially picked up a back order of episodes for The Fosters, an ABC Family show executive produced by Jennifer Lopez and her Nuyorican Productions!

The Fosters has been very successful for ABC Family, repeatedly hitting series highs in key targets and total viewers.  Summer to date, “The Fosters” is summer’s #1 new cable TV series in Viewers 12-34 (1.3 million/1.4 rating) and Females 12-34 (1.1 million/2.4 rating), and Monday’s #1 scripted cable TV telecast at 9 o’clock in the target demos.

The press release did not reveal how many additional episodes were ordered, but the new episodes will premiere in January 2014, along with new episodes of Switched at Birth and Pretty Little Liars.

Grand Opening of Viva Movil Store in Brooklyn

The Grand Opening of Jennifer Lopez’s Viva Movil store in Brooklyn is set to take place tomorrow, Friday July 26!! Viva Movil is Jennifer’s new premium retailer for Verizon Wireless that targets Latino customers.  This will be the official Grand Opening with media, giveaways, and big surprises! You never know just who might be there! We can’t give any surprises away, but I will say that if I were a New York JLover, I would definitely be there! The store is located near the Barclays Center at 162 Flatbush Avenue.
