Jennifer Lopez is set to star in a new movie with Viola Davis! The film, called LILA & EVE, begins shooting in January. The premise is as follows: On the heels of a tragic drive-by shooting, two distraught mothers team up to avenge the deaths of their children when local inner city authorities fail to find the culprits.
LILA & EVE was written by Pat Gilfillan and will be directed by Charles Stone III. Charles Stone described the movie as ‘Thelma and Louise meets Fight Club.” Sounds exciting!
By the way, this is likely the role Jennifer learned she got while on the radio this Summer! Filming begins in Atlanta in January, so stay tuned!
Jennifer Lopez was honored at the March of Dimes Celebration of Babies Luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel earlier today! Jennifer received the Grace Kelly award, which honors model celebrity parents who support the March of Dimes commitment to help give all women healthy pregnancies and full-term babies.
The event, which raised $1 million dollars for the charity, featured celeb guests including Reese Witherspoon, Josh Duhamel, Molly Sims and Tia Mowry. Jennifer switched things up in a flowery Bibhu Mohapatra dress:
