Maribel Foundation Promo

Here’s an excerpt from a Maribel Foundation Promo video, it was shot during Jennifer’s visit to a hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The video includes a new snippet of One Step At A Time, a song Jennifer wrote for the twins.

Contributions from the Venus Fund will support The Maribel Foundation’s efforts to educate women about the importance of telemedicine clinics, which provide patients in underserved and underprivileged communities with top-quality pediatric care through the use of telecommunications. *Up to a maximum of 5,000 stories. In addition, a set donation of $65,000 will be made; $50,000 to the Step Up Women’s Network (U.S.) and $15,000 to CARE International (Canada).

American Idol invaded Austin, TX last night! The one hour episode showcased two fabulous new JLo looks and plenty of her great reactions. As always, Idol won the night with 24.9 million viewers, a 2% gain from last year’s equivalent episode! If you missed it, here’s a brief recap:

Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson, and Steven Tyler visited with Oprah Winfrey via satellite today. The interview was brief, but nice.

Gillette’s official youtube account just uploaded this new commercial featuring Jennifer! Jennifer is Venus’ first Global Ambassador and she will star in their entire marketing campaign! The new campaign includes commercials, print ads, and Jennifer’s exclusive recording of the brand’s Venus jingle.

“Music is one of my great passions, so being able to record and perform a remake of the iconic Venus song was a really special part of this campaign,” said Jennifer. “I love that I could express my own passion and creativity, and hopefully inspire other women to do the same…whatever it is they love doing.”

As part of the Venus partnership, which was announced at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall today, Jennifer will also help launch the Venus Goddess Fund for Education, which supports female empowerment through education and benefits organizations like CARE International, the Step Up Women’s Network and Jennifer’s own Maribel Foundation.
