The Sundance Institute announced the films selected to screen in the out-of-competition Premieres section earlier today, and Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming film, Lila & Eve, is among them!! Jennifer stars alongside Viola Davis in the film. Viola plays Lila, a grief-stricken mother reeling from her son’s murder who attends a support group where she meets Eve (Jennifer’s character), who urges her to take matters into her own hands to track down her son’s killers. They soon embark on a journey of revenge, but also recovery.
The 2015 Sundance Film Festival will run from January 22 to February 1 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. Congratulations to Jennifer and everyone involved!
