Jennifer Lopez and her sister Lynda Lopez appeared at the Best Buy in West Los Angeles yesterday for a press conference yesterday! Fans had the opportunity to watch live and some lucky fans and BBers even got to take photos or get their memorabilia signed! The first 200 fans to arrive also received an autographed LOVE? album.

While at the event, Jennifer spoke about the foundation and its importance to her and her sister. Samsung, through its Hope for Children initiative, and Best Buy recently joined together to support the Maribel Foundation. The two companies have pledged to donate up to $500,000 to support the foundation’s efforts. As a result, the Maribel Foundation will soon launch their second telemedicine center, this time in Panama. The first center is in Puerto Rico.
Now through October 29, a portion of the proceeds from the purchase of select Samsung products at any Best Buy store around the country will be donated to the Maribel Foundation. For more details on the campaign, visit this page on BestBuy.com.
