Come on, she also had some hot outfits too! Maybe yes that period did involve a few more 'boring' ones, but she also had some stunning looks during that time!

And the CAUM shoot matched the album's vibe perfectly, she was so beautiful in that promo shoot!

It's not hard to read between the lines. The guy is a control freak! Jen gets married with him, she is barely spotted, she becomes immensley private about her life, her outfits start to look MUCH more conservative (remember those long flowy dresses that covered her whole body that looked like huge trash bags?), and lastly her career went into a spiral downfall.

And then ironically in the past year, she's back in the limelight, she's on the #1 show in America, she has the best-selling single of 2011 and her career, named the World's Most Beautiful Woman, and they decide to split. I'm just glad Jen is done with him and back to her senses!

Guys, let's not forget he never FORCED her to be with him. She was very into that relationship. I'm not even a fan of Marc's, but really let's not make it seem like Jen was some poor oppressed pushover. She chose to be with him, and also chose not to be with him when the time came. They had 7 years together. They have children together, and they've also managed to be very mature and smart about this split. He could have easily been a jerk if he was so horrible.

^lol.....Reading the past few threads makes me hate Marc even more!!but I have to agree, controlling Jennifer Lopez is not easy, for him to be able to do that, a part of Jen must have wanted to be control and changed at that time!

exactly!!
I don't think Marc forced her to dress that way. It was her choice, at that time she wanted to be taken more seriously as a singer and actress (CAUM, El cantante, Bordertown) and the way she dressed was a part of that too, IMO.
And yes there were some hot outfits and shoots too, remember that Pirelli shoot, Control myself video, Rebirth & Brave album shoots, Do it well etc.

Totally Agree!

When they got together Jen was very vulnerable with a bad broken heart, she wanted to finally be happy, slow down and have a family, and that's what he gave her, She'll always love him for that. However they obviously can't get along as a couple, the way they do as friends, so they are better off putting an end to it.Loved them as a couple, but if they weren't happy what's the point of staying together. Good Luck to both.

In the spanish Media are very strong rumors that this Shannon Who? (Marc's girlfriend) is pregnant and that's why Marc filed for divorce to get marry again!

Don't forget he did the same thing to his ex (Dayanara), he got a quick divorce in Dominican Republic to marry Jenn, so he can do the same thing now!

this Shannon wrote a twitter saying something like: "I'm so in love that I feel a person in my stomack" LOL!

Totally agree. You guys are picking a few of the bad outfits when there were plenty of hot ones.

They were together for almost 8 years, so something worked. Now they are getting divorced, oh, well, stuff happens. Hopefully all involved will be happy.

I don't get it...let's say this rumor about Shannon being pregnant is true..why the heck is he going around populating if he's not going to stay with them. I mean, I know that he wants kids, but he's not doing it the right way. That's too much in a short time for his other kids to have to deal with. You're married to the same woman for 7 years before you all split and then you're with another woman and you get her pregnant??? That's too much and I'd love to see him explain this to Max and Emme. I mean if the whole waiting for 6 months is true, the baby could be here before his divorce is finalized. Crazy!
