Certifications for OTF, Singles and 'LOVE?' in UK and Canada??

I believe 'Love?' and the singles (OTF, IIY) sold a lot of units in countries like UK and Canada, even though I can't find any certifications for those at the OFICIAL websites (Canadian Recording Industry Association - Music Canada and British Phonographic Industry BPI).

I think the Label (Universal Def Jam) has to request those certifications and pay a fee.

Is there a way someone here would contact Jennifer Lopez's Team or Universal about this matter?

Universal Island have been very good about certifications in the U.S.A, but outside the US they don't care!

LOVE? flopped underperformed in the UK. :(

It didn't make the Top 100 year-end list.

But yeah, it should be gold (100k in shipments).

And On the Floor is platinum (600k). It sold 784k copies in 2011.

I think Love? did moderately in UK sale wise, and complete Love? era is success from her in all aspects, considering Brave sold only 25K there and Do it well peaked at #11.

I read at UKMIX that 'Love?' sold about 130K in UK so it should have a GOLD certification (100 K), ....and OTF sold more than 600 K so it should have a PLATINUM certification (600K).

In Canada OTF sold tons of digital downloads, but there're NO certifications for the song.

We don't have any.

"Love?" flopped harder in the UK than "Gigli" did worldwide.

And what about 'on the floor'? the song should have a Platinum certification at least!

yeah! OTF was #1 in UK and was one of the best sellers of 2011!

That's why the song should have at least one certification, but I see none at the website for th British Phonographic Industry BPI.

But why do the UK/Europe stans claim she's a lot more successful and more popular overseas than the US, when she can't even obtain a plaque for a #1 song or an album?

The answer is simple. Mercury records/UK distributer don t want to pay fees for certification or Universal didnt suply for it.

We say that she is more popular here because her album sales mostly came from Europe. And she is always top 10 or top 20 with her singles here.

I guess that 500k /estimated/ of Love? sales are coming from Europe, which is actually pretty big in propoptional with USA sales.

And after all she has no radio problems here, since she is always fully suported by them...

I don't really care about these certifications as long as she scores a smash hit.

Same here in my country, even Papi, they are whoring it (day & night), if the song had the same amount of spins in the US, it would already hit the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Oh wow that's really good. It would have been what, certified Gold or Platinum? I don't know how it works there.
