Click "User Control Panel" on the top right, just under the banner. On the left, click "Profile", then "Edit Account". There you can change your e-mail address or password.


CHANGING AVATAR
Click "User Control Panel" on the top right, just under the banner. On the left, click "Edit Avatar". Upload your avatar (max size is 125 x 125) to an image host such as imgur.com. Then paste the direct url into the "Link off-site" box, clear the avatar dimension fields and "Submit".

**Please do not link to huge images, as that will slow the board down.



POST A PHOTO
To post a pic, copy and paste the image url into your post. Highlight the url and click
Then you are done!

OR

Click , paste the url in the "enter a link for image" field, click "Insert into message" and you're done!


VIEWING FULL SIZE IMAGES IN THE GALLERY
Only board members with over 2,500 posts can view full size images in the gallery.


PRIVATE MESSAGE INBOX IS FULL?

Each inbox can only hold 50 messages. Once you reach this limit, you need to start deleting messages in order to receive new ones. When you delete the messages, click "release on hold messages". Here is a sample image if you can't find it: http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/2708/25061995.jpg

All these directions are also visible when you hover over the relevant images in the Post Box.

Youtube / DailyMotion / Vimeo / etc
Copy the url of the video from the address bar. Click the icon. Locate where the video is from, then paste the url.

Alternate way: Paste the video url into the reply box. Highlight it, then click the icon.

Extra

Copy the code and paste it. Find the url under "data" in the embed code. That is the video's url. Example: http://www.kaltura.com/index.php/kwidge ... id/5394821

btw that button that takes you to the last-most recent post of the page is soooooooooo helpful and especially when i enter through my phone and it take some time to scroll down the page to see the last post every time!woohoo!

I don't know if this is doing it for everyone else. But when u are on the page where it says like annoucements, J. World, Media, General Discussion it always shows that it is new no matter what. No matter if it is or not. Is anyone else having this problem?

It shows as new if any posts are marked as new in that form. So, if you read all the topics except one in GD, it will show as "new" on the main page.

How do I embed Tweets here?

Found it! It was just hidden on my screen

It's above the topic list on the left.

It's also in each topic under the posts on the left as well as at the top, on the left. Basically the same places they were on Yuku, except on the other side. Let me know if you don't see them and I'll post a screenshot.

^ Thanks and sorry for causing confusion. It was a matter of my PC; the "new topic" button just wasn't shown until a restart.

Can we not allow more characters in the "subject" field?

Just like the "old BB" days?

Will look into it, it is annoying me too. changed it too max 100 characters, that should be more than enough.

I'm also thinking about including topic categories, or atleast topic category icons, like we had on the old BB.
