Jen must be gone from idol after this season

1. idol is sinking faster than titanic and it's understandable, the show has been around for so long, so jen please don't come back, leave now that the show still a hit, after this year, it will be crazy for her to comeback.

2. the show is just boring nowdays, and no black girls, not even one, really, i'm not black and i'm even disturbed by that, all blondies look alike, i only watch the show to support jen, she's gone and i will be gone as well.

3. time to concentrate in less projects and more quality: keep making good music and go for great movies roles leading to an oscar nomination........

i cant wait drooling and looking forward to what she will be wearing this sunday at the oscar, this will be her first and only red carpet on award season so she MUST KILL IT and be top or top 3 best dressed......and will she show up holding hand with casper or solo????..i'm hoping for solo, even with cameron diaz or any family member, showing up holding hands with casper will be jokely!!!

CBS and Fox tied for top honors with adults 18-49. But The Big Bang Theory drew a 5.2 adults 18-49 rating (up a tenth from last week) comfortably besting American Idol's 4.0 rating for the common half hour. For the full hour, American Idol drew a 4.4 adults 18-49 rating, down 14% from last week and down an alarming 39% versus the year ago Thursday night telecast

ok...those r xfactor numbers and even wack annoying the voice is doing better..the only singing show i watch is idol cause of jen, tried the voice and couldn't stomach them for more than one minute.............idol was the champ for so many years, but it's time to retire..but fox will beat the horse till it's dead..i really hope jen doesn't come back next year, be gone while the show is a hit..

Idol used to be on Tuesday and Wednesday until last year. They moved it because Glee was a huge hit - Now that Glee is not doing that great anymore FOX should move Idol back to a Tuesday. The competition on Wednesday is too much. Survivor and Modern Family are huge shows that bring in massive ratings and Idol is damaging them and they are damaging Idol.

I don't think non-consecutive nights would work, though. It will be on 3 times next week. We'll see how it does on Tuesday.


Anyway, Wednesday's final numbers are in and AI beat The Voice in total viewers.

Atypical for this season, but American Idol saw no adjustment with adults 18-49. However, it was adjusted up with total viewers to 16.1 million, a bit higher than The Voice for the week.

The ratings slides suck, but remember to keep things in perspective. It was still #2 and #3 last week. NCIS was #1.

hi everyone!i m super busy so i ll download last night's show now...i saw sarah's post and she said deandre is through ..right???anyway basically jen is my main focus on american idol...

Jen should had been on "The Voice" imo. I barely watch "Idol" because it always seems so boring and dead to me. It's the same ish every year, and having Jen on the show wasn't going to change that for me even as a fan.

"The Voice" is much more cool, fun, different, and it actually has judge's that are similiar in success and are still relevant. It's coming for "Idol's" wig and you guys will deal.

The Voice and XFactor would take even more of Jennifer's time, cause they also have to mentor the contestants, so I'm glad she chose for AI instead.

The Voice might be good, but I'll never know. I tried to watch, but I can't watch Christina for longer than a minute, she's so annoying and fake. Besides, I watch the version in my own country and it gets really boring after the audition rounds.

oh lord i JUST managed to start downloading AI...my schedule is so tight these days...i ll watch it tomorrow probably

It's almost like if they pick cowboy guy they would be wasting a spot because I have seen a lot of negative comments about him so he probably wouldn't even get through. I am hoping for David as well!
