But after a day surrounded by loud music and dancing, the couple enjoyed some quiet time as they relaxed at their hotel before catching an evening flight back to the U.S.

As they watched the sunset over Rio's coastline, dancer Casper, 24, planted a tender kiss on Lopez, 42, as she relaxed on a chair.

Life of luxury: Lopez and Smart are sharing a deluxe suite at the plush Fasano hotel in Ipanema

A few hours earlier, Smart was spotted working on his tan at the rooftop bar of the exclusive Fasano Hotel in Ipanema, while J.Lo enjoyed the privacy of her suite's ocean view balcony. Earlier on Monday, they were joined by the American Idol judge's entourage as they enjoyed a cruise. Lopez, 42, and Smart checked into a deluxe suite at the Fasano boutique hotel on Saturday, where
they spent two nights before flying out of the city on Monday night.

Their deluxe suite includes a king-sized bed with 300-thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, a bathroom including marble bath and ocean-view shower and a walk-in wardrobe. Last night, Lopez stopped her bodyguard from blocking a 12-year-old girl from trying to get an autograph from the singer.

Brahma is the latest company to feature Lopez in their advertising- she's also one of the faces of L'Oreal & Fiat 500.

Why are people asking where her kids are? First of all she is no longer with the father of her kids, so I'm sure the kids get to have one-on-one time with their father. Second of all, taking time away from her kids doesn't automatically make her a bad mother. Think about this: there are stay-at-home mothers out there who are horrible mothers, even though they're technically with their kids all the time.

Just because she's not portrayed as ' mother earth ' by the media ferrying her kids to and from school everyday , like they do with Jennifer Gardner , it doesn't mean she is not a responsible, loving mother! .. I don't particularly like her as an artist, but I think she deserves to be happy, just like every other human being on this planet.

The thing this woman has over others is confidence and self-belief, much like Madonna, it is not neccesarily talent. Her determination is very strong. I am not particularly a fan of hers. She is an average actress and an average singer. She maintains her figure by working out a lot and not eating the junk foods. I see many women with a similar physique in New York City and just as pretty, if not prettier. Her edge is not talent, her edge is that she kept pushing until she made it, and when she did make it she made sure her stomach remained flat and her hips did not get any bigger (apart from her pregnancy). See video of her from when she started out as a dancer on american tv, she was at least two dress sizes bigger, and about twenty years younger.

How narrow minded some people are. Does she, a mother above all else, not deserve some time away. She has been pictured many times with her kids in recent months. I am due to give birth in June and am already planning to go away for my birthday in September. I don't think I'm going to feel like a bad mother for having a break. I will miss my baby but for the ignorant people, it's good for children to also have a break from their parents too. - someone, nowhere nice,

Karma will come back and bite them one day for making rude comments on a woman they don't know. Marc probably gets the kids three days a week. The have Joint custody of the twins. Marc goes to sing all over South America. Does he bring the kids? No. Does that make him a bad father? No.

Jennifer and Marc have Joint custody. Stop with all the rubbish about her and her kids. The same moaners moaned on here when she was pictured with Casper and her children on the beach last week. Unless you follow this woman you really haven't got a clue what sort of mother she is.
