i dont understand where we went wrong? i thought for sure "Get Right" was a for sure hit not a No.12 hit.

i'm just stating a fact that we predicted wrong. when we said "Get Right would be the Yeah! and Crazy in Love of '05" or that " '05 is Jen's year"...

It depends who you ask. People may see it as a hit just because it got air play and they don't really care about what number it hit on the charts! I thought Get Right was a good song, not the best but nonetheless GOOD!

But then I'm someone who thought the Happy Happy Joy Joy song from Ren and Stimpy was a hit!

Who cares if it's a HIT or not, not everything an artist puts out will be a for sure hit, but at least the fans are getting new material to listen to or watch or in your case complain and start controversy over

but i'm asking do you think it was the song of '05? when people compare "yeah! and crazy in love" their suggesting that it hits No.1 and gets a lot of airplay and blows up an artist. so dont say when they compared it to those songs that they didnt mean that it meant success.(by all means Get Right wasnt' that successful like Yeah! or Crazy in Love)

and do you still feel that '05 is Jen's year. i know when people said that they meant that she would chart very high. would sell lots of records. everyone would love. no one ever meant "atleast she's giving us good music to listen to " when they said '05 was her year.

I really can't say weather or not this year will be her year or not, and I'm not one who will speculate over that. She has a couple of movies coming out this year and I'll just go from there

i think Get Right is this year party anthem like Crazy In Love was and Yeah was. Everyone here loves it and when it comes on the floor fills and everyone is singing it, playing it in their cars, etc.

The only reason Rebirth wasnt a hit here is becuase there was literally NO promo for it.

and let's not forget that Get Right was a huge hit in other parts of the world, like Europe

well where do you live? because i remember going to parties. and it's like that (truthfully speaking) had people (girls mainly) singing that song and dancing. but get right , even i had trouble finding a way of dancing to it.

dont get me wrong. but if people liked it that much(like you say) then it would have been as big as Yeah! or Crazy in Love.

plus this year's is Rihanna's "Pon de Replay"

Same here, when I've been to parties and the floor has kind of emptied and then Get Right has come on and everyone has rushed back and gone crazy lol.

In Holland same here everybody went wild in the clubs.. really when 'Get Right' came on everybody was doing the sound of the saxophone in the first seconds and doing the handwave

yet again. 2005 is not over yet, maybe it isn't her year in music, but her year in movies, in fashion, in tv/movie productions. and there's still the first single of the spanish album which will probably be released by the end of the year.
