The good analysis for me is that she would never have had to break between this is me then and rebirth
There are lot of shoulda's in her career. The problem started when she gave up the promotion for Rebirth. Step Into My World could have easily be one of her biggest hits. CAUM did very good for a Spanish album, it could have a third single tho. Brave era needed more singles. Mile In These Shoes, Forever and Brave could have save the era imo. Love? had I'm Into You being a hit but it could have charted better if it was promoted, Papi was given a bad video and its impact was lost since they took forever to release it. Hypnotico should have end the era. A.K.A. was perfection, but I Luh Ya Papi was not exciting, First Love was catchy but the GP weren't here for it, and Booty became a viral hit but it could have been another Top 5 if they got the promotion and radio right.
I consider the video of i luy ya papi one of the best of her career. Courageous. Beautiful. Sexy and a slap in the face of the macho. But as always lacked a heavy promotion in music

The problem with I Luh Ya Papi was the song, I mean with this to ILYP don't had to be lead single of A.K.A. Of the promotion she sang in American Idol, in iHeart Radio Pool Party and one remix with Tyga. In Por primera vez the problem is the promotion.Covenant wrote:I consider the video of i luy ya papi one of the best of her career. Courageous. Beautiful. Sexy and a slap in the face of the macho. You saying all the right things ugh everytime I hear Rebirth I get So angry on how that album had so much potential for 4/5 singles!!! That album is amazingCosTaSsSs wrote:There are lot of shoulda's in her career. The problem started when she gave up the promotion for Rebirth. Get Right,Step Into My world,Whatever You Wanna Do And cherry pie.
BRAVE was not a bad album I know It was not commercially driven. It was a Album where she wanted a change in sound. I think She and her A&R didn’t care for it. Since she got Pregnate and didn’t want anything to do. But to me it seem like she believe in that project sho much that she couldn’t have forced to gain life cause everything was working against her. 1. Being Pregnate 2.Her Relationship with Marc was her priority and 3.Tommy mottola left and the new people didn’t know how to market her from Tha time.CosTaSsSs wrote:There are lot of shoulda's in her career. I’m sorry don’t hate me but AKA should of never happen. I’m sorry to say but that album was full of demos, hand me downs and rushed material. She didn’t do no writing or was hands on the album.
It could of been a big album like Love? If her team didn’t fire REDONE!!! Wasn’t he originally supposed to executive Produce the Album? To get a full dance project? What happen?? All because “Live It Up” flop!? I’m sorry she could of come back. AKA was all wrong Their was no potential single or hits. It was leftovers. For me that was her worst album to date.

Just that. Should have started the era with Booty
A.K.A. was actually the first album aftet a while that producers worked with her instead of sending demos. Also, she had writing credits in most of the songs. Brave is one of her best in terms of quality imo, but I feel she didn't love it enough.
It's going up on spotify since it was added to Viva Latino playlist.
Now they should put it in top 10 on Baila Reggaeton playlist asap lol

She could at least have her team send a tweet or make an IG post to pretend she cares about AAA having any success. It’s another huge flop at this point and any label would be crazy to invest in another single and or release the album.
I know she's JLo but it's not like only top 10 artists release albums lol

This songs over!
Its what happens when you don't support your work she can't rely on video streams anymore she's musically not relevant to the mass public that they are Checking for her She has to be out there to get her music herd she is one of the very few Artists that have mass crossover Appeal she's global but last few years she's become very local and the older she gets the more people forgot about her she was all over the Airwaves through out Europe untill she ignored us with AKA, AYM brought her back to the airwaves and charts and she still ignored us!

Ouch. I'm sure they'll try to do something January once this has zero airplay. Like selena said they could at least do some social media promo to hold off the song till holiday season is over. You know show some signs that you stand by your work and not just let if fend for itself.albacho wrote:Spanish Radio

Wow at this rate it will be out of Hot Latin songs after 5 weeks. If it wasn't for increasing airplay the song would already be dead. Things were looking so promising with that #10 debut. Who would've thought NTNY would be the bigger hit.

I'm surprised it's even still on the chart. It's currently at #38, but I thought it had fallen off of the chart. And sadly, "Perfect" with Ed Sheeran and Beyoncé is now #1 on the BB Hot 100, making it Beyoncé's 6 #1 song, and her first one in over 9 years.Dan#jlofan wrote:Wow at this rate it will be out of Hot Latin songs after 5 weeks. Why is it sad that Ed has a song with Beyonce and that it's doing well? What does this have to do with Jlo?QueenCedar101 wrote:I'm surprised it's even still on the chart.
