Is there a way to hide topics in BB?
I swear this topic is alive for more than a year and there is absolutely nothing to talk about.
Everytime i see this topic i thought there is something new but it is always some random chart position (Ukraine or Germany)

I know that some JLovers are totally over this song and hearing news about it, but I think this is at least worthy of noting.
Try Me has spent 20 weeks in the German top 100
Pretty decent achievement for a should of been single that got no promo or music video.
Here is its full chart run.
79, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, OUT, 66, 53, 48, 47, 58, 55, 51, 43, 49, 39, 51, 51, 52, 55, 59, 65, 71, 86, 83.

And now he moved on to a new era.
I wish him to flop for all eternity after the way he treated Try Me.

^ I'm from Germany and the song was/ and still is played a lot on the radio! Whenever I turned on the radio I heard it. I can't remember a lot of her songs who got that much air-time.

It was a good lead up for a new single of her own.

Jason's smart. He wouldn't go anywhere with that basic ass boring and flat song "Try Me".
On the other hand, his new single is promising and it's going to blow up on the radio.

It could've been a global smash with a music video. :coffee It's a missed opportunity.

Summary: Whilst "Try Me" wasn't released as an official single and had minimal promotion it performed well in parts of Europe. Most Significantly Jen picked up 120 000 in official certified sales from the song. It was a top 5 hit in Norway which is pretty significant as well as a top 40 hit in Germany. There's no doubt that as a single this would have slayed, however, we can be happy knowing that it did good for what it was.

I can't at people still trying to make "Try Me" happen. It isn't.
such a waste of opportunity and i'm glad all his other singles tanked as well his new single, the song isn't going anywhere, poor him :lol

Haha. I''m not trying to make it happen. This was the final farewell, its out of global charts, the thread can die now.Nothin On Me wrote:I can't at people still trying to make "Try Me" happen. It isn't.
I just don't understand why people don't see what this song did as something worth noting. In every country it charted it smashed the performance of any single during the AKA era and AYM. Jen doesn't come across musical success easy, so I just don't see why we shouldn't be happy when something takes of a little.
Anyway the thread can die now.
