Hopefully something pans out for her. She's so fucking underrated it's a crime. A crime that Harlee & Woz should FIX.

RATINGS: NBC’S “SHADES OF BLUE” HOLDS AGAINST “HTGAWM”
BY BRIAN CANTOR
12 FEB 2016
NBC's recently renewed "Shades Of Blue" held steady (albeit at its series low level) against the midseason "HTGAWM" premiere.
Positioned against the midseason premiere of ABC’s “How To Get Away With Murder,” NBC’s “Shades Of Blue” predictably failed to rise from last week’s deflated performance.
It did, however, avoid taking another adults 18-49 tumble against the popular 10PM series. It endured only a slight loss in viewership.
Per Nielsen fast national data, Thursday’s “Shades Of Blue” drew a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating and 5.387 million total viewers. Last week’s episode drew the same 1.1 with a slightly stronger 5.643 million viewership total.
It surely helps that “How To Get Away With Murder” is not the force it was last year. While the 2015 midseason premiere drew a 3.1 rating and 9.18 million viewers, this week’s episode drew a 1.8 with 5.785 million.
While not a live+same-day ratings powerhouse, “Shades” has performed respectably in what has become a difficult slot for NBC in recent years. It also receives sizable boosts from DVR viewership. Those factors drove NBC to issue a season two renewal.
— NBC led into “Shades” with “The Blacklist” (1.4, 6.317 million this week vs. 1.5, 6.493 million last week). It opened its night with 8PM series “You, Me & The Apocalypse” (0.8, 2.960 million this week vs. 0.9, 3.473 million last week).

Looks like Jen might be doing some kind of Junket for SOB next week. This jounalist work for a Belgium website/mag.
Great. The show needs some promo, she barely did any for it which was so weird. Must be because she was so busy with Vegas. When's she going on The Tonight Show?
Next week, Wednesday I think. Yeah if you compare with TBND she didn't do 1/4 of that promo even Ray Liotta did more promo for the show.

It's good to seem more promo coming. She did already promote the show petty well in December and Jan with TV interviews, magazine covers and Golden Globes etc. But I reckon it was the online promo vids and strong social media effort which Really pushed the show.
She definitely didn't have time to do as much as say, TBND. Imagine how much she will promote season 2. :)
SOB had the biggest % increase of the week (last week) in Live +3.

Aa long as people are watching it (even if it's +3) then I'm sure NBC is happy.
It's really not the same thing and better rating would also mean more revenu for Sob.timmyd2121 wrote:Aa long as people are watching it (even if it's +3) then I'm sure NBC is happy.
I read that most networks are moving away from same day live ratings
because thats reality in a 24/7 economy

They're not moving away from it but the delayed viewing are more important than they were before still the advertiser will give more money to shows with the biggest live ratings.
For Sob it's just that it basicaly double in delayed viewing if just a little more people would watch it live it would be best for the show.

It would be, I agree but I think even the delayed viewing advertisements are evolving on this issue. There's always new ways of advertisements and even now, when I saw SOB on Hulu there were like 5 commercial breaks with 3-4 commercials every time. It's almost as if I were watching it live. I know it's not the same as live viewing but it's still very important for advertisers.
*cough cough* unless you have that commercial free Hulu.

I think delayed viewing mostly show the potential of a show, they might change the night and and with people binge watching the first season it might do better live next year that's what happened with Scandal.

That would be amazing. Plus aren't there shows that improved big time in terms of writing for the second season? I wanna say Greys?
Yeah but alot of them get really bad the second season too lol hopefully they'll get some new good writers to help.
She sounds a lil bitchy with all that one-word answers. Sis calm down you're not famous...

I'm seriously in love with this show. I don't want it to end, this show should be have Empire success.
Jen is already amazing in it but she will only get better and i am sure she will hunt them nominations as she should. If Gaga won with her amateur soft porn performance Jen already deserves more.
