Hey guys I just got back from the concert and WOW my legs are still shaking!!! I was having trouble coming up with an outfit, as I posted before on the Houston thread, but I ended up wearing my "on the six Bronx to Brooklyn" shirt with a blazer over it. It didn't hit me until I was driving on the freeway and I saw her name in the huge American Airlines Marquee……….JENNIFER LOPEZ. I freaked out and really did start feeling hot and shaky so I had to pull over and get a hold of myself. After a while I headed to the restaurant where I was gonna meet my friends (8 of us…..i know all of sudden people are fans) and they were trying to be funny bringing me brown paper bags just incase I had to breath in and out. As soon as I got to the venue some girls stopped me and gave me some Deseo samples and took a picture of me with the Deseo package. The perfume smells really good. My chick friend took like ten samples since she liked it so much. I was able to get my camera in without trouble and everyone was being sooo friendly….which is odd in Dallas. I passed security and there was the guy taking photos in the ING booth. It was a smooth processes but I didn't buy in on the spot…instead I chose to print it out at home for free. I missed the comedian guy as I was too busy getting my drink on in the Jack Daniels bar but I made it to my seat just in time to catch Marc coming up from down under the stage. I have to say that Marc is NOT photogenic because he is much better looking in person. Hes sooo small too. Of course everyone went crazy and started dancing to them salsa beats. Marc said something along the lines of, "Wow, if I knew it was gonna be this loud and this good in Dallas then we woulda came here earlier….you guys are loud". I swear the crowd wouldn't even let him sing since we were so loud! He sang Tu Amor Me Hace Bien but he didn't do El Cantante. Here is Marc singing into some ones celly.
As soon as Marc ended his set people started rushing up the stairs….i guess to go to the restroom but Jenny didn't give them no time for that (do not go to the restroom in between sets!) Once the screens came one with Jennifer on them you could see the crowd rushing back to their seats while screaming JLO JLO JLO JLO! She performed Do It Well and once again she told the crowd that we were loud and that she loved it! She stated that it was her first time ever in Dallas but that she wanted to stay……of course everyone went crazy. Then she pointed to the goosebumps she was getting from our cheers. Next was IYHML were she had a little wardrobe malfunction. The straps from her top came undone as she did the dance break…….one popped off then another…then another but she kept dancing while holding her top with one hand. After the song she said…. "Oh we aint having a wardrobe malfunction here". The dancer came to help her and some how she strapped it back on. Oh Mrs. Lopez it at least six months preggos!! Take a look at this pic!!!!
I know you guys have said that people aren't as hype for Jennifers set as they are for Marc but they were both equal. People sat down for some of Marcs songs but the whole floor was on their feet all throughout Jennifers set. The only song people sat down for was for Porque Te Marchas but as soon as she finished I guess people were blown away that they clapped and cheered forever. I was sooo happy for her. She did great during that song…our girl has PIPES!! The only upset for me was that she DIDN'T do Aint it Funny, Im Real, All I have or IGBA. Didn't she do these at the other shows? When Get Right started she got her cane and was like "You know what this is….You know what this means!!!" while holding the cane in the air and everyone was like GET RIGHT GET RIGHT GET RIGHT!! As soon as I heard LGL I felt sad because I knew that was the last song and I felt the show was toooo short. Dang it, I want 3 hours of Jennifer!!!!!!!! Here are more pics of both of them. At the end someone threw a purse on the stage and Marc grabbed it then Jennifer pulled it away from him. It was funny….they were like fighting for it. Man, this is a night to remember!!!! I couldn't take many pics or videos cuz I just couldn't keep my eyes away from the stage!!! I had an awesome time! Hopefully my friend in Houston can win the suite tickets and I can go tomorrow again……..have they announced the winners yet?
