Nothing surprising. She and her music are cheap.

I like the album but I would have loved a full Spanish album (When a woman is great tho) Trap is hot, love Coconut Tree and Toneladas is beautiful. I hope that she's Touring the last time she did the tickets were gone in a few hours I was pissed.

When I say reggaeton is cheap, I'm referring to songs like Perro Fiel. You can't convince me that sounds good.

The album sounds very thrown together, but I like Nada, Tonelades and Amarillo.

yeah it's my least favorite and I love Nicky Jam, I hope his song with Jen is much better than that.

Is that good for a mostly Spanish album ?

Edit: so apparently for her those aren't good numbers, but she didn't promote the songs well, sony did its job online, but no interviews and performances..

The problem with Shakira here is the disconnect between the lead single and the album's release imho. She failed to capitalize on that single's success for the actual album and the new songs she came up with are crap. They can't help the album.

That's why Jen has to hit while it's hot. Release a hot lead single and release the album right away with the second one. Never underestimate a hot lead single's hype. ;) Shakira waited too long and killed the hype...

Prince Royce's album released in Feb did about the same as Shakira's predicions in its first week.

"The album debuted at number 25 on the Billboard 200, and sold 19,000 album-equivalent units (16,000 in pure sales plus 3,000 track equivalent and streaming equivalent albums), during its first week of release in the United States"
