Tbh. I loved Suicide Squad, there some cringeworthy moments but nothing really so terrible as they presented. lolnixy1991 wrote:
Oh god. :lmao You gotta give it to WB and DC, though, they really know how to squeeze out every penny they can out of their terrible movies. I suppose this is going to be similar to Ayer's original cut? Can't say I'm not intrigued.
nixy, I saw Imperium and it's not a good movie imo lol I wouldnt recommend, but yeah Daniel did a good job, I guess.
Why didn't you like it? It's not one of my favorites of the year or anything, but I think it's a pretty good suspense thriller. A 3.5 maybe.Luka711 wrote:nixy, I saw Imperium and it's not a good movie imo lol I wouldnt recommend, but yeah Daniel did a good job, I guess.
^I dk, I just didnt like the story. I felt it was so unreliable lol
Bridget Jones baby was a lot of fun, definitely not as great as the first one but better than the second, it was really funny and charming I hadn't laugh that much watching a comedy in a while.
heard great things about this one.
Has anybody seen Nerve? It's so dumb, y'all. :lol It's not hard for me to suspend disbelief while watching movies, especially if they're fun, but this one requires you to shut your brain off entirely, I couldn't take ANY of it seriously. The plot is pretty much laid out in the trailer, but the way characters -- major and minor ones -- react to what happens in this movie is so ridiculous, you'd think the whole thing was made as one big expensive prank. The writing is horrible, the acting is awkward (especially by the supporting cast), the cinematography has a weird neon look that gave me a headache, and the songs were apparently picked out by a 12-year-old. Not to mention that the way technology is portrayed and discussed is hilarious. And that's just SOME of the things that make this movie so bad. It's the kind of movie that goes from bad, to worse, to unwatchable with each act.
:woot Can't wait! I LOVE Guardians and Chris Pratt! :love2
didn't realize this was coming out next week in Europe, didn't even see a poster outside.
it's getting rave reviews .

You guys gotta check out Paul Verhoeven's new movie, Elle. It might actually be the best film he's ever made. It's a psychological thriller with elements of horror and comedy featuring an incredible performance by Isabelle Huppert. She really is one of the most fearless actresses working today, and apparently Verhoeven offered the role to many Hollywood actresses before moving the production to France, and they were all too turned off by the script to even consider doing it. It's nasty, edgy, complex and unpredictable, so if you're in the mood for seeing something a bit more insane, do it ASAP.
yeah the trailer made me really uncomfortable when I first saw it so I didn't go see it in theater I'll probably do that online.
Anybody seen Certain Women? It has 93% on RT, and I don't understand what the critics see in slow-moving, uneventful, boring movies like this? I mean, it has some nice film photography. And some of the performances were good, I guess. It's really hard to tell, they're not really given a lot to work with, exept Laura Dern. I read the reviews and they all talk about how it's "quietly devastating", but I don't get what's so devastating about watching Michelle Williams try to buy rocks (!!!???) for 30 minutes. And yeah, I got the metaphors. They're as uninteresting and pointless as the people this movie portrays. Avoid it like the plague.
Gracias! :hugemilin wrote:Nixi cariño, FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS! :D :hug

I saw Doctor Strange today. It was really entertaining imo. Special effects were amazing and actors did a great job.
But as a whole, I dk I was expecting sth better. Maybe I'm just more into more serious/darker kind of movies lol
