Just saw The Help. Wow. Definitely my favorite movie of the year so far. I cried my eyes out the entire 2nd half of the movie. I can't remember the last time that happened. The film is both hilarious and touching. What really stood out was the performances. Especially by Jessica Chastain, Viola Davis & Octavia Spencer. I would give them all Oscar nominations. Can't wait to see it again.

awww i can't believe this movie will be released in March 2012 in Russia. bastards!

Hall Pass. quite nice. i had a few laughs.

I did enjoy Bad Teacher, but it was mostly due to Cameron Diaz. I think Justin Timberlake is just an okay actor, when he'll realize he is a better singer is beyond me.

Okay so movies I have seen this summer:

Pirates of the Carribean 4- I loved it, Johnny Depp really has it made with this character. He perfects Captain Jack so well, and Penelope Cruz makes a gorgeous pirate. My favorite scene was with all the mermaids. Honestly they can keep making these babies, and I'll keep watching. I love a good pirate movie.

Cowboys and Aliens- It was okay. Not great. I think I was expecting more. I am not the biggest Daniel Craig fan either. I don't want to give it away, but certain things in this movie were not very believable.

Captain America- For someone who is not a huge superhero kind of guy, I enjoyed this more than I thought. I only went because my uncle wanted to see it, but I am glad I did. It had a good story and great effects.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes- It was definitely a lot different than what I was expecting, I guess maybe because I haven't seen the older ones just the Mark Wahlberg one. But this was great, the special effects were awesome, those digital apes look completely real and believable. Hopefully we'll get the sequel.

Transformers 3- Seriously? Its just recycled garbage. All the movies pretty much have the same old story line, and its getting kinda old. Yeah so what if the special effects are solid, this franchise needs to go away. I don't know why I keep going to see these films.

The Help- One of my favorites this summer. This movie made me cry so much, so many tender moments in this movie. Viola Davis's acting in this movie is top notch. I loved her from beginning to end. I think she deserves an Oscar nomination. And Emma is brilliant, easily becoming one of my favorite actresses. This movie made me wanna read the book, its not a happy story necessarily but it is one that needs to be told.

X-Men: First Class- I love me some X-Men. One of the few superhero franchises that I really enjoy. Its so cool seeing how they all got started in their younger days. I thought everything about this movie was great.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- My FAVORITE but of course. I being a huge Harry Potter fan was more than delighted with the final showdown. It was everything I could have imagined it to be. The effects were stellar, and I already knew from the books that the story would be my favorite (as the 7th book is currently my favorite). If it were up to me I'd send off Harry with a Best Picture Oscar. I mean I enjoyed it so much that I didn't care paying to see it in those expensive IMAX theaters, multiple times this summer. I am happy for its success in the box office.

Even though "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" got a C from Entertainment Weekly I still want to see it.

All it needs is the name Guillermo Del Toro attached and I'm there. Seriously, he could be the director or the guy who prepared the meals on the set and I'd still be there.

lmao ! I want to see it too and I'm in love with Guy Pearce, he rarely makes bad movie choice.

Super 8, it was entertaining no more no less.
Melancholia, beautiful, haunting movie and Kirsten Dunst was amazing.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes, I didn't expect to love it that much since I didn't like the 2 previous films but this one was different, the special effect were amazing and you could actually believe the story.

It's a kind of Funny Story - great drama, great acting, amazing story that i'm sure everybody can relate to, because everyone's been in a depression. It's one of the best movies i've ever seen.

I recently saw Drive with Ryan Gosling, very dark with a great techno soundtrack, i liked it. Don't go see it if you expect a Fast and Furious kind of movie, the pace is really slow. Actually this is what I hope "Parker" ends up like.

I just saw The Artist and I loved it!! They took a huge risk to make a silent film but it really paid off, it was very entertaining. Excellent piece of storytelling. Also i'm a sucker for movie soundtracks so it didn't hurt that the music was absolutely essential to help telling the story Image Oh and the performances are amazing overall, especially from Berenice Bejo, she really captured the essence of classic old movie stars. I'd love her to get an Oscar nod for this. And Jean Dujardin is so gifted, I had a hard time buying him as a dramatic actor (because I was used to his comedies ) but he makes such a transition from the beginning til the end in this, he should also win an Oscar for this.  Go see this movie!

^Yes, the truth, I was somehow magically influenced by this story.
I do not like love stories , but liked this story .maybe because I do not watch them and I have no association.
I've never seen "A Walk to Remember"..but I recently looked at 102 times the The Cell .. Lopez there is good.

If only Image

I really liked Drive, hard  to watch at times but it's so well directed, acted and the music is perfection.

I loved The Artist, didn't except to like it as much as I did, it was pure fun and I was very impressed by the lead actress.

The Change-Up - for one time, the theme is positively overworked.
The Help - boring in the beginning and then came the compassion and funny moments
