Slay-Lo struck again last night at the PCAs. But the internet says someone else hit it first.

The verdict is in, and it’s unanimous — Jennifer Lopez’s Reem Acra gown was the crème de la crème at last night’s (Jan. 18) People’s Choice Awards. The stunning jewel-encrusted bodice combined with J.Lo’s knockout body is what made the labels’s Pre-Fall 2017 Ready-to-Wear gown a red carpet favorite. But amongst all the praise were a few who hit the comments section of Reem Acra’s Instagram claiming the fashion house ripped off the design.

“Everyone already knows you shamelessly copied the dress that @lyquikhanh released 5 months ago. You do not deserve all this recognition. What a shame to do this in the 21st century! Did you think it would not be discovered?” commented one infuriated follower.

Vietnam-based fashion designer Ly Qui Khanh is being credited by fans as the originator of the imaginative gown. Since last night’s PCA, he’s posted several images to his Instagram back-to-back of a very similar dress he created with screen shots dating back to early October.

“It was out around September ... was 5 months ago!!!!!!!!!! gosh,” he captioned one post of his dress.

Some equally angry Reem Acra fans took to Khanh’s page to defend her. “How can she copy him if she made the design before him?” wrote one person. Seems like creative thievery has been an issue for big name designers and smaller names alike. Just look at the countless boutiques that have knocked off Yeezy apparel down to every last hole.

There’s no denying everything from the embellishments to the sleeve ruching are unarguably identical on the dresses in question, but this debate still leaves us wondering which came first, the Reem Acra or the Ly Qui Khanh?

    BET.
    No shit. This true?
