@JD you shouldn't focus on the few negative comments only because there are still good comments on those sites though especially on ATRL, I found so many people praising the snippet on facebook, and as you said thatgrapejuice, and other sites, however there are few others that may be just confused and still can't make a judgment yet or they might be haters and everyone of them is such a downer, they just can't be satisfied no matter what and the reasons are all stupid in this case.

the deal with this song is, that after first listen you re kinda bland, then after 3 - 4 times you hear it , you become addicted.

She has improved both her range and her vocal quality.
