Gotye Knocks David Guetta Off Top Of Singles Chart
Meanwhile Lana Del Rey stays on top of albums chart with Born To Die...

Gotye has scored his first No 1 in the Official UK Singles Chart after Somebody That I Used To Know (ft. Kimbra) rose two places this week.

The Belgian-Australian singer/songwriter knocked David Guetta's Titanium (ft. Sia) down to No 2, while Will.I.Am's T.H.E (The Hardest Ever) (ft. Jennifer Lopez and Mick Jagger) was a new entry at No 3.

The top five singles were rounded out by Jessie J's Domino at four and Alyssa Reid's Alone Again at five.

Over in the Official UK Albums Chart hipster chanteuse Lana Del Rey has stayed in pole position for a second week with her debut album Born To Die.

Maverick Sabre was a new entry at No 2 with Lonely Are The Brave, while former Beatle Paul McCartney also had a new entry at No 3 with Kisses On The Bottom.

Ed Sheeran's + and Adele's 21 were both down one place at No 4 and No 5 respectively.

The 2012 Chrysler 300S and entertainer will.i.am in Chrysler’s new commercial called the “The Hardest Ever” (a song by will.i.am in collaboration with Jennifer Lopez and Mick Jagger).
