I dont see why people buy real fur when fake fur is just as good, a fraction of the price and no animal has had to suffer for it. It doesnt make sense to me.

i don't buy actual fur coats, cause i'm lacking $10,000 and i don't really want one...but my J.Lo jacket has fur on the collar.

exactly..i havent noticed other celebs who wore fur coats and im watching the E!Channel..
any way..i dont think that someone should really brag about purchasing fur coats and stuff like that , cause the person who owns these coats has only money and no affection to animals who are being killed for celebs like our JLO who has tones of money and could buy other luxurious coats cause you know jlo always has to have her 'game on' with the shades ,the nails and the Bling' ..
i mean like..look at her coats and especially at the first picture.. i used to not really care and didnt think about the animals a few years ago in 2001 when i really became a huge fan of hers but my friend kinda introduced me to this problem and i see how she feels about these stuff so i started thinking about it and i saw that its true,its really bad and not necessary for celebs like JLO who live in LA,Miami or NY to buy these coats .
just as she cares about the kids at the LA Hospital and about HER puppy dogs she should care about those animals!

i mean its JLO ,and if her make-up artist and stylist are not on drugs -then she's dressed ok and she'll look good anytime ..these fur coats which she takes off anyway (cause the outfit thats under the coat counts) are really not necessary.so what for..i mean..c'mo' we all know you've got money Jen and if you're cold go get yourself a different coat or jacket from Versace\D&G or what ever you wear.

i think that this is the whole deal around fur coats,outrageous jewelery and luxurious cars in hollywood or anywhere..cause we all can drive or wear some thing more simple, but thats just the thing,we can afford not to..so why should we.

yeah..see i dont think that she really thinks about those things..she just buys it when she shops cause it looks good , its designed by a well known designer and of course she's JLO so she has to "dress for the occasion".

first of all, i highly doubt jen has bought all of her furs with her own money. majority of the ones she wears probably aren't even hers. i wouldn't know who J.Mendel was if i didn't follow her fashion moves so carefully...AKA, free advertising. so i don't think she's really "buying" into that whole trend (pardon the pun )

and yes, incredibly rich people can wear fake fur. sometimes it lasts longer or whatever the case may be. buying fake fur is completely opposite of buying fake Gucci glasses or whatever...the products are not really on the same level.

then you must think killing animals for meat is bad too. go one way or the other but not both. and i hope you don't own any leather couches or clothing.

look at it this way: most of the animals that are made into fur coats are, a) not necessary to the well-being of the planet, and b) are farmed for fur (such as mink). i'm not fully behind fur coats, i really don't care. but it's a personal choice and not everyone has to like it.

it's not only rich people who buy designer stuff...i'm not rich and i have a collection of designer handbags. my grandma has a fur coat. you don't have to have jen's bank account to buy stuff like that.

I know that people have problems with using animals for fashion, but its not illegal and so it should be her decision if she wants to wear it or not. Not everyone can be morally perfect.
