Jennifer Lopez Is Planning To Release Another Spanish Album
Jennifer Lopez’s A.K.A. may have bombed on the charts, but the super diva has a back up plan: she’s doing another Spanish album!
JLo told Ryan Seacrest that she plans to record a follow up to 2007′s Como Ama una Mujer, but unfortunately, she still hasn’t found the time to put her plan into action just yet.
“Doing another Spanish album is something that is in my plans over the next year or two,” she revealed. “It’s about having the right amount of time to work on it and get all the people lined up that I’d love to work on it with, so absolutely 100% yes.”
Como Ama una Mujer sold over 800,000 copies in total, and spawned the chart-topping hit “Qué Hiciste,” which reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Songs chart and Club chart.
Since the album’s release, the 45-year-old has spent more time focusing on the Latin market. She recorded a number of Spanish-language collaborations with artists like Ricky Martin, Wisin, and Pitbull, starred on an Idol-style Latin talent show with ex-husband Marc Anthony called Q’Viva! The Chosen, and toured in Latin America and Europe.
If she were to release another Spanish album within the next year, there’s a good chance that it could be even bigger than Como Ama una Mujer was.
