I guess they didn't report Melbourne and Adelaide yet. Melbourne had 2 shows, too.

Sucks that she missed it being sold out so narrowly. Nonetheless, a great turnout!

Thanks for the heads up! :D

They posted the chart with the 50 Worldwide tours.

But in the link I posted I got the Chart with the 100 Worldwide Tours, where you can see both: the 'Dance again' tour (#13) and the 'Enrique Iglesias/Jennifer Lopez' tour (#77)

The reason I want to be able to show the whole list of the 100 Worldwide tours is because some people are saying that the shows with Enrique are included in the "Dance Again" tour revenue ($52.6 millions) ....and in the List of the 100 tours we can see how there were 2 different tours that added to $73.8 millions.

Do you understand what I'm trying to say?

Whoever said that did not read the other list properly, because it clearly says the $52.6 mill gross is for 54 shows, lol.

But, yeah, the full chart is here: http://www.pollstarpro.com/files/charts ... eTours.pdf

Oh thanks for the link! ....where did you get that link or how you put those charts in the link?

There were some haters in another forum who said that and I told them that the total were 78 shows and they didn't believe me, but I had no proof of that, with this chart of the 100 worldwide tours you can see clearly that there were 78 shows in total and 2 different Tours!

New interview, but not much new:

Jennifer Lopez Talks Music

As her grueling six-month, 55-date “Dance Again” world just concluded, pop superstar Jennifer Lopez has certainly earned a break, not that she ever shies away from hard work. Her 90-minute concert performances have her singing and dancing with the kind of relentless fury that few performers can match. Indeed, J-Lo has also never looked better or fitter, and in person she looks a decade younger than her 43 years.

Showing no lingering signs of last year’s painful divorce from Marc Anthony, she and 25-year-old dancer boyfriend Casper Smart seem happier than ever while they have been enjoying their time together on the road in places like Lisbon, Istanbul, and Belgrade, just to name a few exotic locales. She’s also a doting mother to her twin children, Max and Emme, who turn 5 in February, and didn’t hesitate to bring them along on the tour.

“There was no way I was going to spend six months on the road without them,” Lopez says. “They love being able to walk through the stadiums and go backstage with me. My mom gave them lessons every day, and we had all their toys for them in our hotel suite where they could play at night before bed. I just made sure they got their regular sleep every night or otherwise they get cranky!”

Lopez also has a highly-touted new film coming out – Parker – in which she co-stars opposite British action star Jason Statham in the title role. Statham plays a professional thief who is double-crossed by his crew and then plots revenge with the help of an ambitious but cash-poor Palm Beach real estate agent (Lopez). Should the film turn out to be a box-office success, it could reignite J-Lo’s film career which she put on the backburner following the birth of her children. In the meantime, J-Lo reportedly earns upwards of $50 million per year from her various business interests.

Her split from Marc Anthony appears to be very amicable, although she recently admitted that even though breaking up their family was a very “painful” experience, J-Lo ultimately “realized that I couldn’t allow myself to stay in a relationship that wasn’t working.”

Jennifer, how important was to you to get out on the road again with your “Dance Again” world tour?

It was very exciting. When you’ve spent most of your life as a performer, it’s important to go out and do what you love again. I love being on American Idol, but singing and dancing and performing in front of an audience is what I felt I should be doing. I’m happy to be surrounded by my family and friends and have them be part of this journey.

Has touring helped you refocus your energies?

I’ve been doing my best to move on with my life and feel whole again. It hasn’t been an easy time for me over the last year (because of the divorce) but this tour is the kind of experience that makes you stronger because you benefit from the experience of working hard and reaching out to your fans. As an artist, this tour was my way of showing people different sides of me as a performer and as a mom which is why I was so happy to show pictures of my children to the audience (via a giant screen) during my shows. That’s another way I can connect to people and take them on this journey with me. You have to be willing to bare your soul to your fans and make them feel part of your world.

Your children are such a huge part of your world. How do you see your role as a mother and the kinds of things you would like to teach them about life?

I want them to grow up to be loving and kind and generous people. I come from a very hard- working family and all through my life I’ve had the strength of will to believe in myself and knowing that hard work goes a long way to getting you to where you want to be in life. I think my children will learn from my example that being charitable, that being good to people, taking care of your loved ones, and working hard for your goals are the keys to leading a good life.

How have your twins adapted to life on the road with their mom?

They had a great time. They thought they were on this great adventure and even though they’re still pretty young, I can see how much fun they had visiting different cities and just visiting the arenas where I’m playing – the stages, the crew, and all the people running around. I don’t know if would do this several years from now if they were in the middle of a school year but right now thanks to having my mom and other family supporting me, it worked out really well and it meant so much to me to be able to still be with them even though I was working. I’m just trying to be as good a mom as I can be.

danceagain

Why did you choose to name your “Dance Again?”

I was inspired when I first heard the song “Dance Again” and I begged Enrique (Iglesias who co-wrote the song with Pit Bull and Red One -ED) to let me have the song because it was so meaningful to me. Family is so important to me, and because my family was falling apart with the divorce I needed to find some new inspiration in life. I didn’t want to spend my time feeling sorry for myself or lying in bed or anything like that. So “Dance Again” became my personal anthem and a metaphor for getting back out in life and coming out of the experience better than ever and that’s what this tour has been all about.

Did you want to send any particular message out to your fans?

A lot of it has to do with making women believe in themselves and also that loving yourself is the basis for being able to enjoy a happy and healthy relationship. Sometimes we need to stand together and support each other. It was important for me to be able to go out there and try to remind women that even when things might look very dark in life, you can find the energy and inspiration to hang in there and get your life back together. A big part of what I wanted to say was that we have a lot of inner strength and we just need to find the will to harness that and get through the tough times and move on.

Your shows have a very high energy level. Was that part of the concept for the tour?

Yeah. I wanted the show to have a kind of vibrant Latin touch with a lot of glitz and glamour and above all a lot of high energy. Sometimes it can be hard to maintain that level over a long tour, but even if I might feel tired on a given day, I tell myself that my fans expect the best and it’s my responsibility as an artist and performer to find the energy and give it everything I have. I thrive on that kind of challenge and it was a great experience to be able to travel the world and have my children and family be part of it all.

How do you get yourself up for a show on a day when you might wake up and feel tired or out of sorts?

You need to think positively and not give in to that side of yourself that wants to stay in bed or give in to that lack of energy. I’m so fortunate in being able to do what I love and every day I do affirmations where I wish for good health and positive thinking to get my mind and spirit into the right place. It’s important to remind yourself of all the good things in your life – your children, your health, your good fortune in being able to go out and perform and reach so many people.

You’re someone who has achieved so much in life but you’ve also had some ups and downs. How do you get through the tough times?

There are going to be some wonderful high moments in life and then you’re going to experience difficult moments. Life is a journey like that. The important thing is to find happiness in yourself and then you have a better perspective to deal with everything that life throws at you. You also have to learn to find a good balance between your career and your home life, your life with your children. It‘s always a challenge.

Do you miss being part of American Idol?

(Laughs) It was a beautiful experience and as much as I enjoyed my time doing Idol it wasn’t what I really wanted to be doing with my life. I always had a hard time being critical of performers because I’m a naturally positive person and I want to encourage people to realize their dreams. It was pretty emotional for me at times having to choose between very talented people. At a certain point I knew that I had to leave and get back to my first love and passion which is singing and dancing. That’s what it’s all about for me.

When you were a little kid, who inspired you to believe in yourself and make you believe that you were going to become a successful actress and singer?

I think my mom was very integral in that part of my life because she made us believe that we could do anything. I was a Puerto Rican girl from New York. It seems so far-fetched but when people make you believe that you’re less afraid to try things. She always was very big on us being independent, not having to depend on any man, not having to depend on anybody, just being able to kind of survive on your own no matter what. And one of the things that went along with that was working hard. And my parents were great examples. My dad worked nights most of my life. My mom worked at the school and had a Tupperware job.

How did your family see your showbiz ambitions?

When I was starting out, my mother told me: “I’m going to support you in everything you’re doing, but I don’t want to ever hear you crying if things aren’t working out for you!” I remember getting my first big job where we were doing a show about the history of Broadway musicals. We went on a tour of Europe and I was very upset because I was the only member of the dance troupe who didn’t have a solo number. So I called my mother crying on the phone. She told me: “You were the one who wanted to be in show business, so don’t call me and sob on the phone. Good-bye and I’ll see you soon.” It’s what I call my family’s brand of tough love and it works!

Is that the kind of moment that made you who you are today?

It strengthens you. It gives you a lot of inner motivation which you can draw upon when things aren’t going well. But I’ve always had a lot of ambition and drive. I was inspired by watching my mom and dad work very hard to take care of their family. You never forget that. I was raised by my mom and grandmother who were very tough Puerto Rican women and they’re my role models in life. It becomes a part of you and you know that hard work will help you accomplish just about anything!
