Q’Viva finally premiered in English last night on FOX! The show was edited to appeal to American viewers with a new narrative voice-over to unite the auditions and some new scenes, but the overall feel was the same.
Of course, the show has been airing on Univision for weeks, and episode 6 aired on the network last night, as well. All the acts headed to Los Angeles for the second round of auditions. The traveling auditions came to a close during last night’s episode of Q’Viva! In the end, more than 200 contestants were chosen to fly to Los Angeles. In last night’s episode, Jennifer found a lot of talent, including an adorable 11 year old guitar prodigy in Argentina. If you missed it, you can watch the episode here..

You can call JLo the Queen of TV! If you’ve been bummed about missing out on Q’Viva, English-speakers, we’ve got great news! Fox has picked up Q’Viva and it will premiere on Saturday, March 3 at 8PM! The show will continue with two-hour episodes for five weeks until its grand finale Saturday, April 7.
In a press release, Jennifer said:
“Q’VIVA is a passion project on so many levels. It’s really our dream to see it come together. This is about creating a live visual experience about Latin culture, rhythm and dance. I believe that people will be so enlightened, so enriched by this experience.”
Q’Viva has been airing in Spanish on Univision in the US, and the 3rd episode aired this past Saturday.
