Jason Derulo & JLo to shoot Try Me video

Jason Derulo shared the exciting news that he and Jennifer Lopez will shoot a music video for their duet Try Me, with People Magazine at Monday’s season finale of So You Think You Can Dance.

He revealed that the video will involve lots of dancing. Saying he and JLo are both excited about that. “I don’t think we’ve seen J.Lo dance with a guy since she danced with Diddy like 10 years ago. But this will be a lot different. It’s very conceptual. There are going to be a lot of dancers. It will be a very sexy video” as stated by the sexy singer.

Jason is working out twice a day since the video will show lots of skin. Although he wants to keep the details under wraps, he was sure to point out that muscles are actually integral to the plot. He added: “I will be shirtless. It’s in the concept; the guys have to be really strong. You will understand when you actually see the video. It’s a competition of some sort.”

We are very excited about the news since the song has been charting in several countries without being released as a single. And of course we always love to see Jennifer dance, so we can’t wait for the video. No word yet on when and where they will shoot the steamy video.

A little music update

As if Jennifer isn’t busy enough with shooting Shades of Blue and prepping for her Vegas residency it seems she is also working on new music.
Ne-Yo revealed in this Buzzfeed article he recently spent some time with JLo:

“What is the last thing you searched for on Google?

Who directed the video “No More Drama” for Mary J. Blige. I was actually kickin’ with J.Lo talking about some music that we’re gonna put together, and we were talking about great directors. She said she really really liked that video and was wondering who directed it, so yeah, I looked it up!”

In other news, Bandsintown listed her as a performer at Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Show, 34th Street Heliport in NYC. Will she surprise us with some music already during this performance? Within 8 days we will find out.

Jennifer at Tony Awards

Jennifer made an appearance at the Tony Awards in NYC last night. Tony awards are given to the best in Broadway theatre.

Since Lopez appears on the soundtrack of Broadway show Finding Neverland, with the duet with Trey Songz ‘What You Mean To Me’, she wore a Valentino dress that totally matched the theme of the musical. Jennifer rocked her short hair cut on the red carpet, something we haven’t seen in while.

JLo’s Mawazine festival show

Jennifer hit the stage in Morocco this Friday to open the Mawazine festival. Like the stage powerhouse she is delivered an high energy show!

It had all the ingredients of a classic JLo show: several (sexy) outfit changes, lots of dancing, some slow jams and interaction with the audience. Of course Miss Lopez performed hits from her entire career like: Waiting For Tonight, Love Don’t Cost A Thing, Jenny From The Block, Get Right, Hold It Don’t Drop It, On The Floor, Booty and Feel The Light.
